Now the price of the sacrificial animal skin is quite low. Those who sacrificed, did not receive the price of leather, as did the seasonal traders.
The Bangladesh Tanners Association, the owners of the tannery, says they will collect the skin after 3 to 12 days. Until that time, if the traders can save the skin, they will be able to sell the leather at a fixed price.
Some people say that in the financial crisis, they are not buying leather. Traders again complained that the price of leather has been reduced by syndication at once. However, those involved in the business say that some people are trying to benefit themselves by playing dirty game with the price of leather.
Many people from different parts of the capital have been told that the seasonal traders in different parts of the capital were eye-catching to buy leather. There were also incidents of harassment with the purchase of leather. However, the situation is much worse than the last few years. This time the seasonal businessman could not be seen that way.
In the afternoon, the skin was sold at temporary markets in different areas of the capital, the price of small leather per piece is 5 to 5 rupees, each medium-sized leather is sold at 4 to 5 rupees, and large leather is sold at 4 to 5 rupees. This is half the price compared to last year.
Some seasonal traders in the Science Laboratory area complained that they had reduced the leather market by syndicated and traded syndicates. Artyards and tannery owners buy leather from seasonal traders. At one point there was tension. Seasonal merchants chase down the ardent and tannery representatives. At one point the police brought the situation under control.
After the evening, traders have crowded the leather market in Lalbagh post. Leather is coming from different areas of the capital. Selling has begun. However, traders fear, there will be huge prices.
Bangladesh High and Skin Merchant Association general secretary Tipu Sultan said in the first light, that every square foot of salt skin is being collected from the capital at Rs. As a result, the price of small piece of leather is being sold at Tk 5 to 3, medium size leather for Tk 5 to 3 and large leather for Tk.
Tipu Sultan said this year, the skin condition is very bad. We owe about Tk 5 crore to the tannery owners. Many did not get the money. About 20 to 5 of our nearly half-dozen people can buy leather. Due to the lack of money, the skin can be wasted due to not being able to buy the skin. Again, prices may fall even lower than they are now.
Referring to the complaints of seasonal traders, Tipu Sultan said some seasonal traders are buying leather from different places at higher prices. They are trying to blame businessmen for not understanding the business.
Shaheen Ahmed, president of the Tanners Owners' Association Bangladesh Tanners Association, said, "We will start buying the leather a few more days. Now it is amazing to associate us with the bargain. I think some of the rumors are trying to bring a lot of profit. Many people are confused about skin on posta. Sells skin with fear of loss and panic. '
Asked about his advice on how seasonal traders can get out of harm, Shaheen Ahmed said, "Now if they save the skin with enough salt, we will get a fixed price from the government. Now, if we sell the skin in a hurry, what do we have to do? '
